    Weird, I go to get one of these Google freebies and it asks for a credit card, paypal account, or coupon/gift card in order to purchase something with a price of $0.00. I had signed in with a Google account but I didn't want to give them a credit card number so no freebies for me :cry:

    I keep thinking that if Google keeps doing this long enough they will be able to sneak in one that we all accidentally pay for.

    There are actually quite a few more. Lou Reed, Cyndi Lauper, Romantics etc. I would recommend going to play.google.com Music and searching for "playlist very best".

    There are probably over 100 Google Play Playlist titles for free as of this morning, including Mountain and Ted Nugent.

    As was stated above, the best thing is to search for "playlist the very best of" and cherry pick from there.

    I would say Windows 10 is not required.

    I saved to the Google Play library and downloaded my tracks, all in Ubuntu Linux.

    Same on a Mac. Just need a web browser. There is a limit of 2 downloads of each track from a web browser, other wise you need to use their app or something, never had to worry about that.

    Damn, I just looked at my library and I ended up getting 64 of those free Playlist albums (887 songs). Would I have paid $63.36 for the same, probably not.

    At least if I shuffle from the Google Play app there is lots of variety now.
