I don't really have a position on those attributes in and of themselves, it just has to be a good movie (for me).
I will do so, but after Mr Robot wraps up, as there appear to be quite a few similarities. Thanks for the feedback.

The pixies cover was a nice touch.

Hopefully, we have not 'over-hyped' it to ya'.
It may not have the 'pop' it did when it first came out......
heck, even "Finding Nemo" ripped-off a 'camera move' from it!

Well, it will have certainly lost some of it's pop, given that he;s had a major spoiler revealed... But it's still a great movie, one I've viewed many times.

Well, I'm not sure we learned anything new this week. Not saying nothing happened, but we didn't learn anything new about Elliot's state. Nice use of the Jim Carroll track "People Who Died". I like the guy playing the E-Corp CEO. He's creepy, but good at it. His character does seem awful similar to the one he played on the under-appreciated "Rubicon".

I'm watching the finale right now and you were wise to wait--the similarities keep piling in.

Seemed more like a prelude to
S02 rather than a season finale

    Thought there'd be some
    post-finale chatter ...

I found it to be rather underwhelming, so didn't feel the urge to comment.

Just started watching it now.... perhaps the reason for it's postponement was the real life drop in the stock exchange? And.....
    "World Destruction"?....... really???

I did a spit take on some of the lines in the show, because they were clearly rewritten to reflect very recent political and economic events. Very well done.

I too remember the guy who shot himself in front of a podium, back in the '80's.

Great first season. Will be hard waiting for season 2.

A lot of Kubrick sprinkled throughout...specially in the finale.

Also hoping to pick up the soundtrack if one gets released. The score is great, and it makes really good use of other music.

It's funny you mention Rubicon ... when I see this guy in Mr Robot all I can see is his character from Rubicon. I liked that show. Amazing how two separate characters in two separate shows seem so similar yet one was benevolent and the other seems so malevolent. I just wanted to write something where I could use malevolent and benevolent in the same sentence!!!!

We just got the premiere episode here in Canada last night. No idea why it took so long.

So, I was talking to my wife about the show, and she was like:
"You know... it's like this guy aimed this show FOR people like YOU!
A 'dash of "Fight Club", and little "V For Vendetta", "World Destruction", Kubrick. Whip in up in a bowl, and serve it to ya'!"
Even when Mr. Robot says, "STOP TALKING TO THEM!", it's a nod to us!
It's hard to tell if we're being 'played'......

Wait...Which one is benevolent? I think they are both malevolent.

And Rubicon was fantastic. Mr. Robot is interesting, but that series was amazing. Still sad it only got one season.
