Amazon packaging is second to none -in fact a little over the top. Essentially a giant box arrives, with brown paper inside to prevent excessive movement. Then another sealed package in strong brown cardboard is inside, tightly housing the record.

Usually the above is true though periodically they will arrive as just the 'strong brown cardboard tightly housing the record' and I have had occasion to return this as this package became 'stressed' resulting in the inside record jacket becoming 'stressed' or bent.

Possibly due to the distance involved. On the occasion when mine arrives like that, at least it's just across the water to Ireland rather than a much bigger pond to Canada.

But their return policy is second to none - even when being returned from that 'other' London.

I just received my "Sticky Fingers" from .UK and they both showed up in a slightly oversized mailer that held the lp very snugly. It has a "zip strip to open it and you slide the lp out of that end. Why they sent mine in two separate mailers is beyond me, but it doesn't matter. The lps arrived in PERFECT condition. I was very pleased..... :pineapple::bdance:

On my laptop yesterday, I wasn't redirected. On my iPad a few minutes ago, I was redirected to amazon.com.

I think the 2014 remaster sounds more natural than the 2006 remaster, but it's probably just a personal preference as neither is bad.

Just picked up the cheapest Rush CD I've experienced. A used copy of A Farewell to Kings, priced at £0.38. So the postage is £1.82, but it's still a bargain.

Just picked up in the used section:

Frank Sinatra: This Is Sinatra 1953-1957 - 2CD set at the near-ridiculous amount of £0.01, as well as My Kind of Broadway (£0.73) and No One Cares (£0.98) - still waiting for Where Are You to slip beneath the one pound line...
