How many albums this years so far ?

Did you buy ? Despite saying I wasn't going to buy any, I already bought 17 between cds and lps this year so far. . And I don't mean 2015 releases, I mean albums in general, used or new. Feel free to include legal downloads (they count as albums)

 

If we're only counting 2015 releases, one to two a week, so between 39 and 78.

All told, well, I just bought 22 LPs an hour ago if that tells you anything.

 

236. Not all 2015 releases. 90 percent vinyl. But some are singles, some are CDs that came with MOJO or The Wire, and some were given to me.

Did get 25 or so unbelievably great titled used CDs from GW and SA and all in 'like new' condition (of course). Total cost: about $16.

Gave GW about 25 good titled, perfect playing, LPs... someone got real lucky!

I prefer LPs.

 

My all inclusive total is 387 releases.

 

A lot. I lost count after 50.

Vinyl, CD's, downloads. New and used.

 

Quite a lot of CDs and records (easily close to 100 between formats) from the thrift stores. Between 15-20 new records and probably about 10+ new CDs.

 

Between 175 & 200. One vinyl (Sticky Fingers with Spanish cover) and the rest is all CD. Those damn remasters and Deluxe editions...

 

Many CDs this year.

 

Only cd I bought this year was the bound book edition of Iron Maiden The Book Of Souls, I got a free cassette of the new Sword album High Country with my vinyl pre order however.
Everything else is vinyl and has to be up in the 100+ area easily between quality reissues new albums and used stuff at records shows and SH classies.

 

So far...194 in total. More so far than any year since I started listening/collecting.

Vinyl -- somewhere around 35 or 40 I would guess.

 

Around 500!!!!! All vinyl as I just got back into it after 25 years. Mainly the great classic rock stuff from the 70s (again). Probably averaged $5 per album, although a lot given by friends who gave up on it years ago! Only one new release - Iron Maiden ($37).

 

364 as of today. A mix of CDs/LPs/SACDs/Blu-ray audio/DVD-A.

Easily 200+ mixed between CD and vinyl, with the vast majority bought used. I've spent some time this weekend looking at vinyl I can cull, space is getting to be a real problem. I'd do the same for CDs but with no resale value these days I don't see the point of spending any time on them.

 

About 650-700 cd's, almost all of them out of print and factory sealed.

 

Not one more than I have time to listen to.

 

Since January 1st. 136 cd's and 7 lp's.
