I doubt that it will be an upgrade. The Cambridge sound may be slightly different from the NAD sound. Is there anything about your NAD combo that you don't like?

I like the NAD separates....was thinking about saving some space with an integrated if the Cambridge was an upgrade....

Well it might be an "upgrade" if you prefer Cambridge's house sound to NAD's. You won't know that unless you listen. Cambridge and NAD sounded quite different when last I compared them (admittedly that was several years ago).

Current Cambridge amps sound like kerrap (veiled and opaque)

I preferred NAD myself, but not because the Cambridge sounded bad. I'll have to take your word for their current sound :)

Current Cambridge amps do not sound crap at all - far from it. They have a clear and neutral sound, which might not be to everyone's taste, but they perform well. I had a 350 for a while, then a 840 v2. They also seemed to measure well in various tests I've read too.

But that's not to say it's any better/preferable to your NAD (which I haven't heard and can't comment on). As others have said you'd have to compare.
