It's a good show. But all good things must come to an end.

Is there going to be another Spiral? I loved that. I think the last series broadcast was Spiral 4.

Just watched Wallander on BBC2, though I had already seen this episode - I have the DVD-set of this final series. I think this series is better than the last one.

By the way, author Henning Mankell is gravely ill with cancer. I hope he'll survive and I wish him all the best.

Any love for Hinterland (Y Gwyll)? It has a similar vibe to Wallander.

I think this series is MUCH better then the last one. I thought the writers really lost their way with that one. I'm glad it's back on track, but what an unfortunate way to go out.

I'd read Mankell has cancer too. I hope he beats it.

Seem to recall reading after Spiral 3 finished that they were making at least two more series.

I read actor Krister Henriksson, who played Wallander, wasn't happy with the penultimate series.

Just heard on Dutch radio that Wallander author Henning Mankell has died. He was 67.

Just watched Season 2 (missed Season 1 bit box on the way...) and thought it was wonderful.
The air of doom that pervades the show and the characters' lives and the feeling that they're living on a knife edge, no matter the crime they investigate is superbly realised.

I'll have to look for that on Amazon UK, as iPlayer via (free) proxies has not been working for me for some time.

Glad you enjoyed it. Every day in Aberystwyth is like that! :)
