Hard-core fan here too. I have found I haven't actually listened to an entire Beatles album in years!

And I am surprised at the fact that OP has been on this forum since 2003, and still started a thread I'm sure he's seen a thousand times here.

    Revolver.

Rubber Soul and Abbey Road comes very close!

Revolver, UK mono. It's been my favorite for many decades. But second place is where it gets interesting for me. Right now it's a tie between Magical Mystery Tour (HorZu) and the White Album but that's subject to change.

I pick Abbey Road on the strength of its second side, but I've had a soft spot for A Hard Day's Night from the first time I heard it. I'm fairly certain it was the first CD I bought, too.

Thinking you're "uncool" by saying Pepper is your favorite is the new cool.

Sgt. Peppers. I think I might have chosen Revolver once or twice on these "favorite Beatles album" forum threads over the years, but over the long run, going way back, Sgt. Peppers has been "the one". It's the consummate Beatles "album". Imho, of course.

The Beatles have only made two audiophile albums ( if you can call them that) at least something that would used for hi-fi demonstration use at Las Vegas hifi trade show, being either Sgt Pepper or Abbey Road.

This week, it will mostly be the White Album. He said smugly, having scored a UK white vinyl copy recently.

My way of saying I don't think I could pick a favorite if my life depended on it.

Abbey Road is my favourite, along with Let It Be, though I think Revolver their best. But (heresy on this Forum) I'm not a huge fan. Always preferred Stones and Zep.

A Hard Day's Night is my fave record, Revolver is their best album, The White Album has the best songs, Sgt Pepper was their most important record and Abbey Road has the best side.
