But that was so cool in 1991!* Have a listen to "I Wanna Sex You Up"... it's a stellar New Jack Swing track, and a lot cooler than "I Adore Mi Amor".

    * No, it wasn't. ;)

Blood,Sweat & Tears' Second,self-titled Album, which may as well have passed for a "Greatest Hits" album, among the hits were "Spinning Wheel","And When I Die","You Made Me So Very Happy","Sometimes In Winter" and "Smiling Phases"! Also,The Bangles' "Different Light", 4 tracks making it to the Top 10,and their biggest hit "Walk Like An Egyptian" on it,too! The other 4:"Manic Monday","Walking Down Your Street","If She Knew What She Wants" and "Egyptian"!

I always found Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love To You" slightly awkward like that too. Not really a song four dudes should be harmonising on. o_O

:) Man that video gets more uncomfortable to watch with each view.
I enjoy that song but now whenever I hear it playing in my head I picture four weirdos doing strange things to a mannequin. Smh
I'm now watching "I Wanna Sex You Up". I actually enjoy this song too. I like the upbeat groove and "ohhhhhhhhhh I Wanna Sex You Up" chorus. :p
If I was old enough (at the time) and heard these songs on the radio I would've probably bought that album too. Smh
    I'm a sucker for 90's R&B. It's a guilty pleasure of mine.

I definitely bought the Color Me Badd album in 1991. On CD too. :( "Thinkin' Back" is also a cool song.

The Color Me Badd guys were on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 too. (Possibly the peak of the 1990s?) They do an a cappella "I Adore Mi Amor" (almost):

Wow! It went 5x platinum. "I Adore","All 4 Love" & "I Wanna Sex You Up" did the trick. :righton:
    Check this out.

OMG! :biglaugh: My mom used to watch that show all the time. That and Melrose Place were her two favorites.

That was awesome. And how about the rap nominees: PE, Salt N' Pepa, Heavy D And The Boyz, "O.P.P." and "Summertime"? Sweet.

Boyz II Men had three Top 3 pop hits off Cooleyhighharmony:
    "Motownphilly" No. 3
"It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" No. 2
"End Of The Road" No. 1
plus "Uhh Ahh" peaked at No. 16. All four songs were Top 5 R&B hits (and "Please Don't Go" hit No. 8). The album was reissued in 1993 with the No. 3 hit "In The Still Of The Nite" on it, so in that formation it had four Top 3 hits.

Adele's 21 is interesting to consider for this thread. Three hit singles is easy, and they are massive:

"Rolling In The Deep" (Number 1 in U.S. & Internationally, record-setting sales and chart performance)
"Someone Like You" (Number 1 in the U.S. & Internationally)
"Set Fire To The Rain" (Number 1 in U.S. & Internationally)

After that, the singles were "Rumour Has It" or "Turning Tables": both had relatively weak chart performances (presumably because everyone in the world at this point had already purchased three copies of the album) but "Rumour Has It" went Double Platinum in the U.S. and "Turning Tables" went top ten in three smaller countries (Belgium, Italy and Israel).

No, but I just watched a few clips on YouTube, and... I can't tell if it's awesome or terrible. But I've put it on my list of 'movies I really want to see'.

I remember at the time wondering if he'd run out new material to use as b-sides. Does anyone know what all of the b-sides were. Was Springsteen able to supply previously unreleased material for every b-side?

Original pressings of this one didn't have "End Of The Road." It was also added in 1993 after the song became a massive #1 hit from the Boomerang soundtrack.

Only album I can think of with 5 Top 10 hits that hasn't been mentioned is The E.N.D. by the Black Eyed Peas.
