It's the second one i'm talking about I think 28 Weeks Later even surpasses 28 Days Later. Not bad for a sequel.. Back on topic: it has been mentioned before but the CGI often looks horribly bad. How expensive can it be to get a shot from a ship a few miles on the water...?
Yes the remake wasn't bad and it did take place primarily in a shopping mall (Sarah Polley was in it, which was nice) but it offered nowhere near the demented sense of dread that we felt while watching Dawn of the Dead.
I don't know, but I bet it would cost more than that bit of CGI. Someone should have just scotch taped a picture of a boat to a window in that house and pointed the camera, through the glass, at the water
Pretty terrible show all around, the action sequences were incredibly lacking as well. The group I watch the show with all agreed at the end of episode 6 we wouldn't be watching again. Everyone was pretty disappointed with most of the show in general.
Mediocre at best. Primarily I'm disappointed it accelerated through the early stage of the zombie apocalypse and now it feels too close to TWD, albeit not nearly as good. Great to hear The Antlers' Hospice album used at the end; high point for me.
LOL...I often lump both 28's together! The ship thingy wasn't given a second thought...they could have used a still for all I care...
If we're thinking that they're gonna spend a significant portion of the next season on a boat, then it's my guess that the writers will dispense with that in the first episode. If past performance is any indication (e.g. Terminus)...
I personally hope that they don't spend half the season on the boat. The only thing i can predict happening is that they either sail up or down the coast and settle in a less populated area or they sail to one of the 5 islands off the coast: San Clemente Island, Catalina Island, San Nicolas Island, Channel Islands of California, Santa Rosa Island, San Miguel Island, Santa Barbara Island. Either or, the writers need to grab us off the bat in the new season episode. If all they're going to do is talk and complain while sailing around, I'm going to lose interest fast.
Growing up in southern California, I always thought that was hilarious that they made Six Flags Magic Mountain beach front property!
Maybe they can to a combo reimagining of the WD and Love Boat. Each week bring B actors as guest zombies and victims.
