After waiting six years (so far) for a promised studio album of new material, Wendy Waldman eked out two singles this year (available at CDBaby.com). Both are banal, overproduced disappointments. I didn't even spend the $1.98 to buy them. I may have to change my screen name.

I don't know about Floyd, so I can't comment there. But Sabbath's "Disturbing the Priest" is a highlight from Born Again....so that's a real head scratcher.

Badfinger - Blodwyn (I get that it is a novelty song, just doesn't do anything for me)

Really? I like that song - it's not in his 100 worst, much less #1 on that list.

Crud, I like that song more than anything on the Deram album!

I'm ambivalent with "Dogs of War" as I don't hate it, but does seem to try too hard. "Disturbing the Priest", though, is awesome. Gillan histrionics bar none and a great riff to it.

The ending is cool, but the honky tonk vibe just ruins it.

Agreed, it sucks. Since Madonna's image was so sultry at the time, why she did this as Betty Boop boggles the mind.

"You've Been Around" I do not like at all. I prefer the 50's styled "Too Dizzy". The whacky "Glass Spider" is almost as bad.

I have never heard his first two albums, so I cannot count those.

"Stevie's Spanking", by Frank Zappa. Except for the bridge, which is good. Too heavy metalish for my taste (and the words... well, I just ignore them).

I have numerous bands/artists that are my favorites...but one stinker that came to mind right away....Bowie's version of Across The Unuvese. It's just pathetic. Even Lennon's presence wasn't enough to override this embarrassment .

Yeah, "Sex Drive" is up there with "Suck On The Jugular" and "Back To Zero".

I actually like both of those. "Back to Zero" has horrid production but I kinda dig it.
"Suck On The Jugular" I think is great, just like the rest of "Voodoo Lounge".
