 starts slow in Speak to Me / Breathe then a monstrous climax with Brain Damage / Eclipse. Nothing against the near-perfect album of course.

The first side is good but inconsistent. Side 2 starts with an iffy track but then gives us a pretty good ballad and a terrific set of 3 songs to finish strong...

Electric Ladyland, although as a double LP it has its variability even after the slow beginning. It does finish strongly.

Yeah, if you consider those strong songs.

Like a Rolling Stone is a good start but the next 3 aren't as good as the rest

It starts off kinda safe, with a pleasant enough Jackson Browne composition, but then gets progressively weirder and edgier. The first time I heard it, I was completed sucked in.

I think this album starts getting good at Excuuuuse Me, although Solsbury Hill's pretty good. Modern Love's a throw-away. Side 2 though? Fantastic
