Benz Micro glider for a long time and now a Benz Micro mc-1. High outputs. I actually like the bass a little better with the Glider, but that's all.

    On my two main tables:
Dynavector 20x2H -- probably going to trade it in for a 20x2L sometime soon
Denon DL 103-R + Miyajima Kotetu mono

    On my dedicated 45 changer:
    Ortofon 2M Bronze

    And in the extras drawer:
    Benz Micro Silver
Shure V15-III DU that needs a new stylus
    Shure M75-6S

    Ash76 Wait actually yeah no

I recently switched to a Denon 301 after the diamond fell off my Ortofon Rondo Bronze
It may be a far cheaper cartridge but so far it's more fun and I don't really feel like I'm losing much

Switch between a Sumiko Blue Point 2 and a Shure M97Xe:For "critical" listening, the Shure seems to handle "rock" better than theSumiko, but with jazz/singer songwriters the Sumiko shines...I have often thought that I am not letting the Sumiko perform to its best....It is a "high gain" mc cartridge, which the phono pre-amps I use claim to support....I have never used a "dedicated" mc phono pre amp...I wonder if I am missing out....any thoughts?

    F9E.

I was thinking about going the ORTOFON 2M Bronze or Black at some stage as my F9E is getting on a bit and the stylus is worn for sure. However Ive just been informed that Sound-Smith are doing their own in-house build of stylus replacements for it at quite a bit lower price than a 2M Black so its now going to be a retipping rather than a full cart replacement for me (when funds permit.. sigh)

F9E is worth staying with IMO.. its just too good

Ortofon VMS 30ii. All-time fave for me. No idea what I'm going to do when this stylus goes though, because I'm damn sure it won't sound this great with a cheapie!

I also have various Audio Technica and AT-made Linn cartridges, but none of them sounds anything like as good as my VMS. I also once had an Ortofon MC and a Shure V15...I forget which versions, but neither sounded as good as...my VMS!

    EMT TSD15, the nude version.

I have a Shure M91ED somewhere, though it needs a new stylus.
