Thanks, looking forward to the part where they'll hopefully talk about the remixes (perhaps with Giles in the video). If not, then I am hoping someone interviews Giles and gets more details from him.

I'm cringing at the thought of him remixing the STEREO tracks! would have been nice to have the original tracks available as well...here we go again.

Yeah, in an ideal scenario, they could've thrown in the 2009 MONO and STEREO remasters as optional soundtracks on the Bluray. But I am very excited about the remixes! I know not everyone here digs them but I've much enjoyed the Yellow Submarine Soundtrack, Let It Be Naked and Love albums. More ways to listen to The Beatles, the better!

Do we know which shows exist in the vault as 3 or 4 track recordings allowing for decent stereo mix? Besides Hollywood Bowl, I am guessing perhaps Shea and Budokan?

I hope the remixing aspect doesn't come too much in the way of your enjoying these restored videos. It should be a fab release!

Hear you on that. I cobbled my own together with the Capitol boxes and a few Russian boots.

This is my favourite live rendition of AHDN. I can't wait it to see it in better quality.

    Just found this here: http://wogew.blogspot.co.uk/

It's from 'Revolver Records' again, so the watermark is present.

The blog says that 'This is one version you won't be getting as part of your "Beatles 1+[IMG]" package'.

But as it was reported earlier (though unconfirmed) that a second SFF clip is included, maybe this will be on 1+ ?

No, BudoKan is mono, Shea is supposedly four track but I've never heard anything to suggest anything other than twin track at the very most.

Blimey, I think I preferred the Revolver logo! Fantastic to see this footage though.

Though as the Shea recording was taken to CTS for overdubbing in early 1966, it might suggest that it was 3-track (the same format that the mono 'Help!' was recorded in at CTS, and 3-track was also the format used for Hollywood Bowl). But even the Anthology DVD presented the Shea concert in mono, so maybe the original tapes are lost.

How can it be on 1+ if SFF is only listed once on disc 2?

I'm just going by this description - I have no idea if there's any truth to it...
