Journey's New Drummer is...

The article I posted actually mentioned that they still have Bill Payne !

 

Too bad they aren't doing Evolution.

 

I'm looking forward to Journey fronted by Arnel Pineda this summer. The only other time I saw them, Steve Augeri was their singer (whom I also like)

 

they were really good with that other guy too, the one before augeri.

Eh, Perry's just a decent Arnel Pineda clone.

 

They did, however, state that Gregg Rolie might be joining them for some shows.

 

I would love to see a reunion of the Perry/Rolie lineup, above all others. Jonathan Cain just doesn't do it for me.

 

It is time for them to get him AND Gregg Rollie back and go back to being a 4 piece so they can get back to doing some serious pseudo psychedelic stuff like they did on Next.

OR

Go back to the original lineup and add Santana percussion section.

It's a good thing he didn't make bail, he's not only a flight risk, he's likely to kill himself via drugs pre-trial.

And his wife? Imagine the horror?

It's so damn sad.

 

Corny? Do you find all rock era bands corny, or just particular rock bands?

I would change one thing about that lineup. Mr Dunbar would return as drummer.
