This is an insanely difficult task, having spent the first half of the 90s in high school and the last half of the 90s working at an indie record store I have so many albums that I love from the 90s. Here are 10 in no particular order:

    Electronic oriented
    Massive Attack "Mezzanine"
Boards of Canada "Music Has The Right To Children"
    Underworld "Dubnobasswithmyheadman"
    Chemical Brothers "Exit Planet Dust"
    Coil "Love's Secret Domain"
    Dj Shadow "Endtroducing"
    Jega "Geometry"
Aphex Twin "Selected Ambient Works 85-92"
    KLF "Chill Out"
    Portishead "Dummy"

    Less electronic oriented
    My Bloody Valentine "Loveless"
    Elliot Smith "Figure 8"
    Helium "Magic City"
    Sonic Youth "Goo"
    Jawbreaker "Dear You"
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds "Murder Ballads"
Polvo "Celebrate The New Dark Age"
    Radiohead "Ok Computer"
    Stereolab "Mars Audiac Quintet"
Neutral Milk Hotel "In The Aeroplane..."

Funny that you list OK Computer in the less-electronic list. I love it because it sounds so electronic because of all the effect gear they used on it.

Heres a few that I never noticed back then due to "theres only so much time in a day and college is killing me" but now are favorites after tiring of the usual suspects..

Dinosaur Jr- Green Mind- funnest RnR to me.

Weezer- Blue Album- what great pop!

Flaming Lips-Soft Bulletin- Greatest complete album of the 90s imo.

Talk Talk-Laughing Stock- Im not usually an ambient type, but this is great late off with the lights soundscapes. The changes take one places not expected.

Nick Cave And The Badseeds- Let Love In (more accessible than the Boatmans Call to me. Though the later is beautiful.)

Afghan Wigs- Gentlemen (no way I would have liked this in the 90s, sure love it now though)

Melvins- Bullhead ( any of the 90s albums are great imo)

Truly- Fast Stories From Kid Coma (seems Im always finding great albums I had no idea about. This is one of them)

"Eric Clapton From The Cradle- God plays the blues. A full album of blues covers, and I can't imagine the originals being any better."

    Really?

They weren't very big here in Australia either unfortunately. Their early stuff was well received, but by the time Pink Girl with the Blues was released everyone had thought they had disbanded and had forgotten about them, especially youth radio. It was only the diehards like myself who continued to buy their records.

Great record, big big favorite, still listen to it all the time, there's a few fans around here
Doesn't require much contemplation, that's one of the best
Love pretty much everything on your list, but that's a good one that doesn't get much attention.
