Tame Impala scores big in the ARIA awards

Just for the non-Australian members, Tame Impala did very well at the ARIA annual event scoring album of the year with Currents and a host of other awards. Well done!

Great news! They definitely deserve their awards IMO, and 'Current' is my joint favourite album of the year (alongside 'The Magic Whip' by Blur).

 

Currents was my favourite album of 2015 as well.

 

I was really disappointed with "Currents", but I'm glad they're achieving a higher level of success.

I saw them a couple weeks back and Kevin announced that it was their biggest stand alone crowd that they'd ever performed in front of (8,000+ people).

Jay Watsons new album has just come out (GUM) and it's great!
