Brazil CBS press 1970 Item # 301809041792 . Track order on side 2 is way different than all other versions. Has Save the Life of My Child and America instead of The Boxer and Baby Driver.

    Interesting...Link?

I imagine it's a fold down...Not likely they mixed the album to mono for one low priority territory.

Brazil issued a lot of mono fold-down LP's. I'm reasonably certain this is another one of those.

The Track Listing alone makes it an interesting piece.

I wouldn't want this since it is missing The Boxer. A strange omission.

    Something objectionable in the words?

No, The Boxer is my favorite song from this album, which makes this copy less desirable for me.

There are a lot of funky post 1968 'mono' albums made in South America. Whats the likelihood that engineers and/or bands hunkered down to make a dedicated mono mix after 1968 - specifically so it could be exported only to that part of the world. And only used there.

Possibly the reference to getting no offers, just a come-on from the etc., etc.?

And "Baby Driver" is also a wee bit saucy.

I have an Argentinian mono copy of this. It has the same tracklist as the US version, but it is no doubt a fold. Even the singles which have proper mixes are folds. Shame... It's sure is pretty though.

I think the implication was that "The Boxer" was left out because of Brazilian censorship.

I see. It is difficult for me to understand censorship back then since I wasn't born yet. Nowadays it seems like the US is less laid back than most places.

I think the singles from 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' album were dedicated mono mixes

The rest of the songs could've been foldowns
