    She was always proud of this scene where she spoke Gaelic in one of my favorite films, The Quiet Man.

    One of my favorites was her role in Rio Grande:



    Her facial expression speaks volumes. I believe she does more great acting with only a few words than most other actors do in an entire movie.

    Godspeed, Ms. O'Hara, from one of your greatest fans.

    Definitely recording several of these. Spencer's Mountain has always been one of my guilty pleasures. By the way - 1939 was a great year in film!

    That's why I mentioned it back in post 18 of this thread, It's one of her best, and it's rarely seen anymore.

    Maureen O'Hara's daughter Bronwyn FitzSimons has a cameo as the Dean's secretary.
