Whats the point of posting on a thread about a band you dont like?

 

I know i get this feeling aswell...just says everything is amazing which is far from the reality for current vinyl releases and reissues. Maybe its setup related...i really dont know??? I just dont get how you cant hear such a difference? The last and only Placebo reissue i bought and swiftly returned i think would be no better than the cd...which is pointless. Okay, if they went back to the tapes and did it at hi-res then i think it would sound a lot better but WHY not just listen to cd's otherwise...

I take his comments with a pinch of salt as EVERYTHING is amazing...

 

How is it just now that I realize that "Taste in Men" steals the intro (uncredited) to "Let There Be More Light" by Pink Floyd?

There's also a limited EP with rare an exclusive tracks being released at the same time.

 

Any updates on the recent reissues? I've been revisiting their first five albums on CD and they are all strong, excellent albums. They haven't got old at all.

 

Release date is October 7 for the vinyl and download. I doubt that a CD version will be released although that's what I would have purchased.

Dam, just seen this, pink vinyl already sold out, quite fancy the compilation but is £70 a bit steep? Got rem & crowded house releases to think about too..

I think the Pink LP set is available from the US store if you are keen.

Crowded house are re-releasing all their albums in special edition vinyl or CD box sets later this year on with live tracks, tempted to get a few if I have the spare cash.

 

And that new release has WYIAN with Bowie too, argh. Not worth forking out the money just for that though.

 

It really doesn't have any effect on me.
