Warehouse Deals won't ship to the US. Not sure if they ship out of the EU. And you won't save VAT on sales from Warehouse Deals.

 

Just another thank you note for that, that Viglink is extremely annoying.

 

I can't take credit for discovering the fix. Someone mentioned it upthread. It really WAS annoying, and so simple to disable.

 

Yes they dont ship Amazon US warehouse deals to UK (or Australia) either, I've tried that out many times. I won't save VAT as I'm in UK now and so can't escape it anyway. And if they don't actually ship to USA then it logically follows there cannot be any VAT saving either So its UK and possibly other EU buyers only I'm afraid. More for us then

Currently showing as GBP10.58, up a whopping 4 pence since I placed my order a few minutes ago!!!!! This dropped to GBP8.78 for me, and you will have to add about GBP3.00 if you buy it on its own -- I was ordering several discs so shipping was GBP7 for 4 CDs plus the Higher! (Sly Stone) boxset, so it pays to add a couple of other bargains!

Sadly, the 'camel' reports that this title dropped to GBP7.88 on Nov. 27!!!! You can imagine how thrilled I was to discover this YESTERDAY!!! (Where the hell was imarcq when this deal was going down? Too busy listening to his Rush Counterparts SACD no doubt!!! )

It was the link to the Paul Butterfield album. I just tried it again and made sure the seller was Amazon and it's being shipped to DC. VAT wasn't removed. It's been happening to me for about a week. Fortunately, I'm not really buying anything, just checking prices. I've used up November and December's budget for music already and I have so much that I haven't listened too that I don't need more right now.

 

Very weird.

I checked my order from this morning, and VAT removed.

Just tried putting it in my cart again (price gone up to GBP11.41, ouch!), and it is correctly removing the VAT (price shows as GBP9.51).

Maybe the Amazon software is smart enough to know when you are serious about buying?????
