Looking for dutch compilation - Het beste uit alle 13 goed (6 CD Set)

Coming from Holland, my parents used to play a lot of dutch music when we were young. Pulling together some CDs for a dutch playlist of sorts, and am needing this CD to complete the compilation.

I've checked all the english websites like amazon, ebay, and discogs to no avail, so hopefully someone more familar with the dutch market may know where some copies of this CD comp may still exist in Holland. Preferably new, but I'll gladly take used.

 

I know for a fact that not too many copies of this 6 CD box were pressed at the start of the century. This 6CD box was a compilation of three separate volumes of each 2 CDs that were released earlier. I have been searching several Dutch sites for the 6CD set, but it can't be found anywhere. You may have better luck with purchasing the three individual sets of 2 CDs each. Those are HTF as well, but at least they're available, for example from Holland's biggest retailer:

Expect to pay pretty steep prices though.

No idea if these suppliers are willing to ship to Australia. You may want to ask them.


In the meantime I will keep an eye open for the original 6CD set, which may be cheaper on the whole. But as said, not many of these were pressed, and by now they're sought after in Holland too.

 

My timing couldn't have been more impeccable. Rolled up onto the bol.com site, and if I understood it correctly, they had a number of copies of volume 3 in stock, and one each of volume 1 and 2.

Buy the time I worked it out, the last copies of 1 and 2 were sold out. Man, you're right, these things are hot.

I've written off to universals head office asking if they can reissue more of these, there obviously is a demand for them. Wow.

I'm recompiling some dutch compilations that my parents use to have on tape in the 70s and 80s. These compilations seem to have the only original recordings of such songs.

They seem to have a passion for re-recording stuff in Holland, so finding original dutch hit songs is really, really tough. The tracks I'm looking for from this comp are:

3. Havenzangers - Daar bij de waterkant, and
30. Havenzangers - Greetje uit de polder

But looking at the entire track list, seems to have a lot of rare gems on there. Fingers crossed, hope universal is listening.
