When We Was Fab (first) and If Not for You (second) won the "tracks 6" poll, by a good margin.

Alternating winners and runners up, the track listing of our 'track by track' double set goes like this :

    disc 1
    1- Give Me Love
    2- Not Guilty
    3- Wah-Wah
    4- All Those Years Ago
    5- What Is Life
    6- When We Was Fab

    disc 2
    1- I'd Have You Anytime
    2- My Sweet Lord
3- Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let it Roll)
    4- Isn't It A Pity
    5- Blow Away
    6- If Not for You

It is now time for the 7th round. Legend has it (or is it Wikipedia ?) that "7" was George's favorite number and that he always put his favorite song from each album on this spot (well, True Love… I don't know).

Please remember that IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR THE TWO 'All Things Must Pass' SONGS. Each of us needs to choose between them (but the two of them may nevertheless end up winning the round).

    Enjoy!

"Behind That Locked Door" is one of the most sublime songs George ever wrote but it ain't getting too much love around here same as did "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long" earlier in the poll. Strange fans.

It's not that we don't think they're great, it's just that we like others more. :)

If that story about George and the number 7 is true, then George and I didn't have many favorite songs in common.

Devil's Radio was the easy first choice.
I like both ATMP tracks, but could only choose one so I went with Behind That Locked Door
Third choice is Dark Sweet Lady

Devil's Radio is probably my favourite Harri-tune. Great rock song.

Somedays, I even think it's the best song on ATMP. Today is a day like that.

Overall, this has to be the weakest grouping, in my opinion. That said, I give it to Dark Horse for the inventive chord/key changes.

I'm quite happy with this specific group of three songs, my 3 favorites here (just behind "that closed door").

That Which I Have Lost is a special darling of mine. One of the best up tempo countryish songs by George. Could almost be a Wilbury track.

Any song where George addresses the vast majority of humanity as "You people" is okay in my book. :) Perhaps a trick he learned from Dylan (see "When You Gonna Wake Up?")

    and
his wonderful (and clearly underappreciated!) interpretation of Cole Porter's True Love - took a well-worn standard and totally made it his own. Quintessential Harrison trademark slide work on it too - love it.
