When you say deluxe, do you mean $800 Brussels Affair '73 deluxe?

This was translated from Japanese and posted on the IORR Forum for what it's worth.

An extended version of the documentary will be released in Stripped SD Bluray and DVD. The DVD will be offered only with a CD or double LP. The contents of the CD / double-LP will take only one piece shown on the album Stripped .as we know A deluxe box set will also be released in two versions. It would consist of the CD plus DVD 4 or 4 SD Bluray containing: - the documentary - the full concert of Paris Olympia 03/07/1995 - full concert from Brixton (London) on 19/07/1995 - a montage based on two concerts recorded at the Paradiso (Amsterdam) 26 + 05.27.1995

Hard to believe this album is over twenty years old now. We are now as far past its release as Stripped was to Black and Blue back in '96.

  7. Yes, the passage of time has necessitated yet another lyric change...

"She was wizened, shady - she looked about eighty..." lol

The Voodoo Lounge tour was the best of their later years imo. Amazing set lists (chock full of seldom played deep cuts), Keith in the best shape musically I'd ever seen.

The LA show (first of two) was magnificent.

Sounds like an interesting release! I've never heard Stripped album and my Stones listening is primarily limited to the 1966-72 period but I think I will pick this up. Have always heard good things here about the Stripped album.

For folks familiar with Vault series, is there any advantage of getting this out on SDBluray over DVD other than 5.1 lossless DTS-MA?

I don't think (hope) the super deluxe will be as crazy as people are anticipating. The from the vault series has been incredibly reasonable in terms of price. Tokyo was 4lps and a dvd for 36.99-39.99 Canadian. Incredible value imo.

Yes, it's funny how releases from the 90s still seem quite "recent".

I'm not a huge Stones fan, but Stripped has always been one of my favorites. I may have to check out this Archives release.

Even with a 'grey area' bootleg or whatever....it's a damn shame they couldn't pick a period picture for a 1963 show.

    I saw it and went...holy **** ! That's MY show !!! :D Only 10 years later.

Yeah, don't know why they used that photo. Someone was complaining about the photo somewhere else as well.

I wasn't really complaining as it was MY show anyway !! I was just astounded they'd pick that ONE !!
