Wow, as a huge Grant Green and John Patton fan I have never seen that one on vinyl or CD. Would love to hear it someday.

There is/was an SHM-CD 75th anniversary cd version from Japan; that one sounds excellent imo. It's been on cd three times in Japan I believe. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/UCCQ-5113

That's a great album! (I have the CD). Agreed about the line-up too. In fact, now playing the Harold Vick Blue Note album which has the exact same line-up. Harold Vick - Steppin' Out (1963) Harold Vick (tenor sax), Blue Mitchell (trumpet), Grant Green (guitar), John Patton (organ), Ben Dixon(drums) (Blue Note CD Japan 1995)
Reuben Wilson – Love Bug (Blue Note Rare Grooves / Time Life Spain) — With Lee Morgan, George Coleman, Grant Green, Idris Muhammad (Leo Morris); bonus track
Still trying to recover from a weekend of cleaning a lot of very dirty records from a recent buy I made, listening to a fair amount of them and then seeing The Musical Box for the 8th time (a somewhat sad commentary in itself). Loving this one at the moment. Funk it up with some serious heavies from NY circa 1976. I even have the same amount of ringwear on my copy. It clearly was submerged in water and full of mold prior to my cleaning regimen. Three cheers for Vinyl-Zyme Gold!
I'm loving it. Miles Smiles is next on the list, but I've been wrapped up in my Thelonius Monk boxset and the Miles Davis Seven Steps boxset. Trying to get through it all before next week
Blue Mitchell - "The Thing To Do" (1964) with Junior Cook (tenor sax), Chick Corea (piano), Gene Taylor (bass), Aloysius "Al" Foster (drums). (Blue Note Japan CD 1995)
