    Nirvana is my favourite.
I also like the John Mellencamp one.
I would buy it if it was ever officially released.

This is the right answer. All 3 are absolutely amazing and should be in everybody's collection.

    Kiss - Unplugged.

  6. My favourites are:

    REM
    Paul McCartney
    10,000 Maniacs

Bob Dylan's official CD leaves out most of the highlights from the performance. Neil Young's playing it a bit too safe. I've never enjoyed Eric Clapton's performance either.

Some of these songs surfaced as b-sides to cd singles but I would have welcomed an album.

Don Henley and Duran Duran did good shows too.

I'm glad you started this thread. I quickly realized I should be listening to these on my rig not on youtube.

Nirvana. Of the songs they covered for that show, I still hear Kurt singing them in my head when they're played by the original artists.

Three songs are from MTV Unplugged. The others are acoustic recordings of some old and some new songs. It is one of my most played Oils records.

I would guess this is OOP on MOV though I don't know that for certain. If you're a fan of the band or unplugged albums in general, as I am, I would advise to not let this one slip away. Right up there with Nirvana and Clapton IMO, yet different. It's Alice In Chains. Sound quality on the vinyl release is pretty much beyond reproach. They're not putting stuff like this out anymore. I can't even hazard a guess on why that would be.

R.E.M. - Nirvana - Roxette - Alanis Morissette - Bryan Adams. How 'bout that for a mix? :)

Since some answers in here from derailed from the "Unplugged" topic at hand... I'm going to give a shout out for this acoustic gem which I found far more enjoyable than expected:

I really like Alais' cover of The Police's King Of Pain from that Unplugged album.
