    Quite amazing in all it's simplicity;
    The last LP track on their final album, which is also the last song recorded collectively by the most incredible band ever.

    Lotus Blossom--which closes Duke Ellington's "And His Mother Called Him Bill" This is the greatest closer ever, in my opinion.

    Hello Little Girl--which closes Duke Ellington's "Jazz Party". A wild studio jam with vocalist Jimmy Rushing and a trumpet solo by Dizzy Gillespie. It ends the album by blowing the roof off of the place.

    Portrait of Mahalia Jackson--which closes Duke Ellington's "New Orleans Suite" A stately, lovely piece after all of the excitement before it.

    Dreaming of the Master--which closes the Art Ensemble of Chicago's "Nice Guys"

    Jazz From an Unknown Planet--which closes Sun Ra's "Cosmos"

    Theme for Nana--which closes McCoy Tyner's "Focal Point"

    Ruby My Dear--which closes McCoy Tyner's "Trident"

    Dolphin Dance--which closes Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage"

    Blessed Relief--which closes Frank Zappa's "The Grand Wazoo"

    Pinocchio--which closes Miles Davis' "Nefertiti"

    For Harry Carney--which closes Charles Mingus' "Changes Two"

    Spain--which closes Chick Corea's "Light as a Feather"

    Levee is the definitive slamming the door shut on an album, only A Day In The Life even comes close.

    a personal favorite ender of mine has always been All Mixed Up from the Cars debut.
