The Cure - Close To Me. If I remember correctly there's light breaths throughout most of the song with some heavy breathing towards the end.

 

The instrumental Knife Chase from Tom Waits' Blood Money uses rhythmic breathing to fantastic effect...

 

I felt the Muse singer had these big audible draw in breaths before he sang a line. I would have to check but that's why I remember never liking their earlier albums.
