I guess what the video shows is that basically you can throw anything onto a record: pizza, pasta sauce, a hamburger, and it'll clean. No, seriously I learnt a lot and will try to put into practice some of the methods.

This is great advice! I can't wait to try some of these techniques on some of my dusty old MoFi UHQR records...

The white lab coat inspires total confidence. Plus "Atticus Martin" — that's a straight-shooter's name if I ever heard one.

I always see a MoFi Sea Change hanging out in a dollar bin in my town as well. I will certainly try the spice and tin foil method on them to make them worth more money!

Man the only spices I have are whole cloves, nutmeg, and Bayleaves tinfoil a plenty. I can't wait to see the results on my Japanese pressing of DSOTM.

I certainly reaped loads of info from this tutorial; never once thought to shake the disc next to my ear to determine the quality of the vinyl!
Also, lacquer thinner - who would have thought? Can't wait to try it.
However, I do think he went a bit overboard with the spices and aluminum foil; can you imagine burnin' a fat one, settling down to listen to that
specially spice treated disc. Five minutes into it, and I'd be hittin' the pantry with a vengeance!

Enjoyed the Chuck Lorre-ish disclaimer at the end. I'm sure some literal minded person is mixing up the paint thinner as we speak.

I think they kind of draw the joke out a little too long. After a minute, I'm thinking "enough already, I get the shtick."
