Well, here's part 6 of the Johnny Cash favorite single poll series, covering his singles with other artists. He is more prominent on some of these than others, so take your pick! These are in order of category, the first is with June Carter Cash, second is The Highwaymen, third is with Waylon Jennings, and the fourth is various. For this I've had to leave off A Song To Mama, The World Needs A Melody, Man In Black, and The Devil Comes Back To Georgia, but I wouldn't expect them to get many votes anyway.

So, this is it, the final round. I'll post the results once it closes. Would anybody be interested in a part 7 that takes the highest voted songs and puts them in a best-of singles sort of poll? I hope you all have enjoyed this, it's been fun!

In part 5, the winners were:
    Hurt (11 votes)
The Man Comes Around (5 votes)
    Rusty Cage (2 votes)

    "Jackson"

Honorable mention: "Why Me, Lord?" - duet with Ray Charles (1981) from Rare Genius: The Undiscovered Masters (2010 Concord Records) (not a single or a Johnny Cash release)

If I were a Carpenter. Of course Jackson is a classic and September when it Comes is a thing of beauty.

I had never seen that video. Kind of corny, but still worth watching. I loved Highwayman 2, and I still think that It features the best vocals that Waylon ever recorded.

actually my favourite is not there :shake:

it's obviously pitchy particularly on June's part, but a gorgeous tune.

    I vote for---- Silver Stallion
I am glad to see that I am not the only one :)

    Jackson is a great choice,
I could vote for the beautiful songs -old time feeling and to Desperados waiting for a train
    or to Highwayman
but there's something so emotional on Silver Stallion, something that touches me very deeply , a beautiful melody and sense of sadness but also sense of freedom and hope.

I actually like the video ,there is innocence and simplicity on the video that I like very much.
