Here's hoping they follow up the excellent "Worship Music" with another solid album. It's out February 26th, though a few songs have already been officially released. This is the first record with guitarist Jon Donnas who replaced Rob Caggiano, but most importantly, Joey Belladonna is still on vocals.

    First single - Evil Twin

And this was just released a few days ago - Breathing Lightning. Sounds more melodic is typical for Anthrax.

The good news is that each format got it's own mastering.

I am really looking forward to this.

I am going to skip previewing any of the new tracks. I did that with the new Megadeth and found that I prefer the album to be 100% fresh when I get it.

I heard over half of the new Stryper album for months prior to its release and it kinda spoiled the actual release.

I wonder why the US isn't getting the bonus disc with the live tracks?

Hasn't this sort of thing been typical of US vs. foreign releases for at least 20 years? Especially US vs. Japanese releases?

Yes, but the UK is getting the bonus disc too. No matter, I am going to get the Japanese version.

Can you elaborate? Do you have a link with any info?

It baffles me why anyone would release a bonus cd with only four live songs on it. What an utter waste of space and opportunity. Record a whole soundcheck before a show or just run tape on a rehearsal. A warts and all live recording with a weird choice or two.

There's plenty of live Anthrax out there, which is why I'm not fretting at all about the 4 track extra disc in the UK version. I'm just gonna get the regular US edition and be happy with that.

Glad to hear this. I'm still not expecting a sonic marvel, but hopefully the CD won't be totally brutalised.

Since Worship Music was already written and recorded before Joey joined, this is the TRUE reunion record. Looking forward to it.

Does anyone know how many formats/limited editions this album is being released in? I've seen double blue vinyl, also seen lilac, yellow, clear and a picture disc version that comes as part of a limited edition box set but no idea how many copies of each. And of course standard black vinyl. UK cd version comes with the additional live cd but Japan gets an extra track. All a bit confusing who is getting what.

The tracks I've heard from this album have been excellent and I've yet to see a bad review so all looking very good.

There's also an indie exclusive splatter vinyl and EMP online has a red vinyl limited to 200.
