Is anyone familiar with the schematic of this?
The display is completely dark now. It died in stages : first it went half bright or so. Then it failed completely within a week or two.
I have a PC display hooked up to this to control DVD-A and such, but it would be nice to fix it properly.
    Thanks.

Did this happen recently ? I also own a Pioneer BDP-62FD purchased in November, 2014. The display failed exactly as you described, and went totally dark three days ago. Interestingly, the failure began a day or two after a firmware upgrade a week or so ago. I wonder...

Couple weeks ago. I didn't upgrade the firmware. I have the unit for about three years.

Is there anyone who fixing stuff like that, maybe they can advice where to by parts? I googled for spare part, and couldn't find anything.
If I could find the display module, I would replace it, but probably nobody doing this anymore.
