I don't know about cool, he looked more of a corpse in this period. And as for those teeth.....he looks like a tramp.

What a terrible album cover, it looks like an Elvis lookalike.

A few years ago Gentlemen's Quarterly ran a "cool" issue. On their list of men who epitomized cool only four musicians made the cut: Sinatra, Miles, Keef, and Jimmy Page. Everyone's mileage varies. It's all subjective.

Maybe, at least until he opens his mouth, dentures are never cool.

Bryan Ferry, of course.... You try standing by a swimming pool in a white tux, and not looking like a complete dick...it's not easy! Ferry could do it standing on his head....

But it's Joe Strummer we're talking about. He'd make anything look cool...even dentures

I always thought the roommate character "Spencer" in Bowie's "Jazzin' for Blue Jean" video was meant to be Ferry, in essence. Can't find a pic of the guy, unfortunately!

If that's your evidence that Nikki Sixx looked cool... keep trying! :)

Middle-aged guy with crap wig still trying to look like he's 22 doesn't scream "cool", methinks!

Bob Wood is the coolest. His LP cover even says so....

And he is still cool, too. He's the elderly gent laying out some hot licks at a Nashville
music store in a Youtube video that made the rounds a year or so ago.

I always thought Interpol registered high on the "Cool" scale, Daniel Kessler in particular. Haven't seen them mentioned.

Methinks that is Rodgriguez. If that is who it is, he became popular in South Africa where new music was hard to come by due to various trade blockades. They all thought he was dead when in fact he became a day laborer in Detroit. Later he had something of a comeback and a feature movie about searching for Rodriguez.
