Even if their songwriting is no match for Sting's, Summers' and Copeland's contributions to the band's sound were very meaningul.

zenyatta mondatta is a personal favorite, grew up with it.

ghost in the machine is probably better produced and engineered,
but although its a better concept album, it only has a few songs that i really like.

synchronicity is also a great concept album, with hits all through out it. but its
a bit of a letdown from ghost.

i don't really care for the first two albums, but i like the usual hits.

Zenyatta for me. I just love the 'Driven to tears' and 'When the world is running down' combo.

    Their first and their last.
    Consistent run.
Outlandos d' Amour is indeed underrated. Some people get caught up in what's "punk" and what's not-----i couldn't care less----it's a great record!

"Ghost in the Machine" is their best, I feel. The opening salvo of "Spirits in the Material World". "Every Little Thing" and "Invisible Sun" is unbeatable. (Although I can´t remember the sequence right now - I haven´t played the album for a long time.) I also like "Zenyatta Mondatta" - it´s varied, but I think it´s consistent and interesting all the way through. "Synchronicity" is great, and I love the songs, even "Mother", which shows a refreshing brand of humour. But, weighing the pros and cons, I always end up with "Ghost in the Machine".

    Can't believe it's nearly a 4-way tie!

Zenyatta was the easy choice for me.
