You mean have the Red Woman resurrect him every episode only for him to die a horrible death by the end of the episode? I'd watch that!

That was a fascinating twist. I can't wait to learn what happened to him.

It's an H.P. Lovecraft thing. The Drowned God is so obviously Cthulhu.

Davos was a knight in the service of Stannis Baratheon, why wouldn't he know what Melisandre can do?

Even with all the badass moments from tonight, Arya's journey still has the bulk of my attention. Can't wait to see how badass she becomes.

When did his name change? Have they actually called him that on the tv show?

I admit it, I really don't want her to become truly faceless. I want to see her use it to punish her enemies and make it back to what's left of her family.

No, that's how the resurrected Mountain is known in the books, or so I understand. I personally haven't gotten that far in the books.

Well, we all know Matt Murdock is a descendant of Arya Stark... Sorry, I couldn't resist, but every time she starts fighting as a blind person, I instantly think Daredevil. Regardless, she's had one of the most drawn-out arcs in the story and I'm glad for that. Will make that first moment where she truly shows what she's capable of all the more exciting.

The maester introduced him by that name when Cirsei returned after her walk of shame.

First two episodes have been excellent.

My 4 favorite characters remain my favorites. Though, one may change after seeing how it plays out.

    1. Arya - I too hope she doesn't remain faceless and blind permanently....Maybe she only will be faceless/blind when ordered to carry out a "job" after she is fully trained but be normal otherwise.
    2. Tyrion
    3. Daenerys - Can't wait to see if and how she takes out her revenge and whether or not dragons will be involved (Tyrion unchaining the other dragons could mean more dragon mayhem)
    4. Jon Snow (curious if he will be the same or if he will become a soulless "zombie" doing the bidding of the "witch". I hope he isn't a "walking dead".)

    Other things looking forward to:

    1. Curious about what will happen when Theon gets back home to find out what happened and whether or not he and his sister will support each other.

    2. I still don't give a hoot about the Lannisters except Tyrion, but it will be interesting to see what Cersei and Jaime have up their sleeves.

    3. Nice to see Bran Stark back and hope they flesh out that story more, especially after giving a glimpse tonight.

    4. Will Sensa and Brienne reunite with the other Starks?

My only concern about Daenerys, as daughter of the Mad King, is will she go mad eventually.

    Random thoughts...

You know how there are episodes where something huge and amazing happens. And then there are episodes that set those huge and amazing episodes up? Well, this is one of those episodes that set up a future amazing episode. And just two installments into this young season, not only might this be the best season, this may have been one of my favorite episodes ever.

Tyrion and the dragons. He drinks, and he knows things. And I'll be damned if they didn't come off as intelligent creatures.

    Giants smashing people.

Ser Robert Strong smashing a braggart's face.

Bran's flashback with young Ned and a talking Hodor.

Jamie, the High Septor, and the Sparrows. Something big is going to go down. Soon.

Ramsey being a sweetheart, as usual, making sure his hounds get fed in a timely manner.

Balon Greyjoy walks a rickety bridge.

    And Jon Snow.

This is why they make tv shows. And this is why I watch them.

I wish Jon Snow hadn't been resurrected. But if wishes were horses there'd be dung EVERYWHERE! Glad we get to see the Mother of Dragons next week and I hope we get to see Indira Varma and the Sand Snakes soon.

I was sort of hoping either it wouldn't happen, or they would postpone it for at least the rest of the season, but I suppose since the Wildlings were going to burn his body posthaste, it had to be done straightaway.
