    Hi everyone,

I am on a Mac and have a Plextor CD-R/RW external drive. Can someone advise me which is the best application for making high quality CDs that will have 16Bit 44.1khz quality?

    Kind Regards

I use JRiver Media Center. Love it.

iTunes will do this. (Not suggesting you install iTunes just to burn an audio CD but if you already have it there's no reason to install something else.)

iTunes will NOT burn a CD from FLAC or WAV files. You'll have to convert them to ALAC or AIFF.

Just make sure you use a good blank and a slow write speed.

Just one more thing. I can use standard CD-R discs for this?

    Kind Regards

Standard CD-Rs, yep. I use Toast Titanium mostly (Macbook Air) but have also made a quick iTunes playlist then right-click it and 'Burn from Playlist', works okay.
