it's such a crime that the film was panned. It was a great remake! Same goes for another project Urban was involved in - Almost Human. Such a shame it was cancelled just after season 1. But that's TV series. Although another one I would love to see continue is Jonathan Strange and Mr. Morell. Although no books have been written further so the future for the series is murky, alas.

As for films - Golden Compass. Clearly, they had more sequels in mind but it tanked. Had a great cast, interesting setting, and was basically ended on a cliffhanger...

 

Fixed.

I'm waiting for the day when someone tries to put the last Narnia book to screen. How could Hollywood possibly handle what happens in that book? (A: They can't, which is why the series was cut short.)

well, no need to tackle the last one. There is still the pre-last one where Jill appears for the first time. Silver Chair I believe it's called. The first one could also be made. The last one would be slightly problematic but technically possible.

The second and third Buckaroo Banzai films (Shout factory is releasing the original on Blu in August of this year! yea!)
More of the His Dark Materials books. Brilliant books. Supposedly going to be a TV series. Can't see this happening without some protest and Supernatural has ripped off much of seasons 6 on from these books.

Fight Club II - There is so much more story that could be told, but we can't really talk about it.

 

I wish a Revenge of The Termanators sequal came out in the mid 80`s.

I don't know about the cast, but I enjoyed the third one enough that I would love to see a fourth. I don't really like Nic Cage anymore.
