Wow. Can you tell us more about how that happened?

  2. Speaking of character evolution, I've always felt that the only character that really involved was the Robot. Which is really odd when you think about it.

caved :) i watched some of my fave episodes on DVD and just couldn't resist the thought of seeing them in blu-ray. the first season photography is often so cool (and oh, the music! i wish i could afford the giant CD set). can't wait!

It was really watching some season 1 faves from childhood and remembering how gigantic this show was in my upbringing. The scene of them fighting the giant from the chariot is something I remember so vividly. And seeing the Robinsons again is kind of like seeing my virtual family! I want to re-explore the whole series now and enjoy the full range of the photography and sound. And that CD set- wow it's expensive. At least I have a three-volume set from some years back. Looks like there are some similar archival Star Trek sets out now, too.

YES... LIS is deeply engrained as well...watching Jonathan cracks me up after some of the background info he told me about the episodes...One of his personal favorites was Cave of the Wizards...

Same cheap price at Walmart at the moment and Best Buy would price match, with a $10 gift card thrown in as a bonus. :righton:

Lasted 5 hours, not " 5 minutes." It was announced HERE at 4pm, one hour before ending. I had been looking at it ALL DAY, as that pic of the box was at the top of the page at Blu-ray.com for 5 hours. At 3pm, the daily Price Drops e-mail arrived, reinstating the sale price also.

Walmart is still at $59.99. I just called Best Buy to price match. For some reason they couldn't add the $10 gift card promo to my cart on their side after matching, so they gave me a $10 credit instead, taking it to $49.99. :righton:

    fabulous! nice deal...actually amazing.

  21. Good price. The first season and a half was good (the first season really good) but the third a disaster IMHO.

Still $59.99 @WalMart. I had no issue with Best Buy matching it & added it to my purchase of the Star Trek TNG BR box for $99.99.

  24. Thanks for that info. I will get it just for season one and two...
