I've seen many threads about movies, TV shows, and books that happen to include this idea but not a thread that is dedicated to just the idea. So why not do one? This can be open for anything that as it.

You should go to Japan. Signs for all sorts of things from live power lines to automobiles have anthropomorphic characters. I went before the days of digital so I don't readily have photos to share.

Here is a photo I found online.

My current comic book love happens to use this idea.

According to Vidiot, this example of anthropomorphism is the greatest film ever made.

Seems that Vidiot is a popular user to tease.

It's just that one funny thread. It started small and grew. Hahah! Cheers to Vidiot!:tiphat: He's a good sport. We all have the burden of windmills we've fought on forums!

how about an entire lifestyle built around it?

this is probably relevant to visual arts in that since no furries are actually talking cartoon animals, very many of them are skilled at producing drawings, costumes, etc. that further their interests.

I knew furries would be mentioned here sooner or later. While I am kinda like that, I try to stay away from the extreme stuff as much as possible.o_O

Lately commercials seem to be not only anthropomorphizing food, but sexualizing it as well.

Yup. Pretty girls with cat ears and tails? Meow.

Sweating to death in a creepy-ass fursuit? No thank you.

(but still this is totally Furries: The Movie: The Thread. :D)

    1. Cat ears and tails look stupid to me.

    2. I don't find fursuits if they're designed well.

    3. I had no intention for that.

It always makes me laugh when anything related to furries is brought up on this forum.

Nobody has mentioned this so I might as well: Zootopia. It's a movie where humans never happened, and anthropomorphic animals live in a modern world.

I was secretly hoping that they wouldn't be brought up here. I mean no malice to 'em as I'm one myself but when I see furries being talked about almost anywhere, conversations turn into bloody battlefields because they're indeed an interesting topic.
