Is there any studio footage from the pre A era besides the Living in the past and Stormwatch recording footage from the BBC documnetary?

The German Doc from 1969 also have footage from the Southampton Guildhall.
"Bouree" and "Sweet Dream" for example. There is a curtain behind the band that is not there in the Albert Hall clips.

    A couple of random side-notes...

My Dad was at the Southampton Guildhall gig and he remembers Ian Anderson making a comment regarding their recently acquired Hi-Watt amplifiers.

In the doc when they're burning the parking ticket, they discuss the Savoy having no bread (money), and were hoping to get some last night.
They are referring to Savoy Brown who were the Support at Southampton.
Dad remembers one of the band playing a Gibson flying V.

That scene is across the road from the Polygon hotel which you can see in the footage.
I'm guessing that's where they stayed after the gig. Sadly the hotel longer exists.
The Southampton Guildhall is just the other side of the park that you can also see in the clip.

    Carnegie Hall 1970 (multitracked)
    Tanglewood 1970 (pro shot, audio?)
Paris 1975 (pro shot, multitracked) Some Tull experts that I have contacted claim that Ian has indeed the footage.
Spain 1976 (pro shot) Spanish TV filmed and aired at least in part this show from the rare european TOTRR tour. Probably erased or lost. Clips on youtube are available.
Landover 1976 (pro shot) A complete set was filmed for a USA TV special but never aired. Exists in private hands and some clips can be seen on youtube.
    Tampa 1976 (not proshot, TullAvision)
London Hippodrome 1977 (pro shot, audio?)
MSG 1977 (pro shot) filmed at least in part for the "Minstrels in the Gallery" TV show.

I was at the Tampa '76 show. It was a really good show. I've only seen small short youtube clips of this one, would love to have the whole thing.

    The Who?

Well, if it was it has been kept under wraps, because, without checking, nothing seems to have been released from then.

I'm always amazed when I see that something was recorded at Landover. That place had horrible sound.

  24. Still nothing from their great prog tours of '72 and '73. A real loss for all us fans.
