If you bring Peter Mew back you could call it the Stand Up Comedy edition.

I don't think Mew's Tull's remasters were that bad, apart from the Aqualung 20th Anniversary Edition.

He ruined Steve Wilson's remix of Thick As A Brick.

This Was is not bad, not to my ears, at least, but I want another expanded version of that album, anyway.

Mew´s mastering for Stand Up and This was is OK. But do you really think we will get Mew mastered material after the recent Aqualung correction?

Can anyone tell me why the introduction to By Kind Permission Of on the Stand Up deluxe is different than the one on Living In The Past? Also, the drum solo is different, but I'm aware it's edited on the cd. Is there anyone who knows that solo that can identify if the parts that are on Living In The Past are on the dvd of the show that came with Stand Up?

I won't talk until all is finalized. I would be surprised if this title is guessed correctly. It fits.

I'm a huge Tull fan (since 1971) and after buying all of the original remastered CD, I have zero interest in any of the subsequent collections. That's just me.
Wait, I did buy the 40th Anniversary Aqualung collection. That was worth it just for the "Wondering Aloud, Again" medley.

Passion play, Warchild and Too old are more worth getting than Aqualung. More exciting new tracks on these

Maybe I'm just a poser. I'm sensing all the real Jethro Tull fans buy each and every new version of each release.

I suppose you're not familiar with the new Jethro Tull box sets, but even if one already owns every Tull album, the amount of bonus material, 5.1 mixes and the 80-page booklets are worth the price of the box set alone.

you don't need to have the new ones to know that they sound better than the remastered Warchild, Minstrel, Songs....
If you heard those afwul shrill remasters you simply know that the new editions with the flat transfers of the old mixes sound better....
