Chuck has a touring band? I thought his hobby was torturing local pickup bands.

It probably was a local pick up band. I've never heard of any of the names!

No signed records ( yet ) but have several CD's.

    Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend
    The Sundays - Blind

The Thorns ( Matthew Sweet, Pete Drodge and Shawn Mullins )

There may be a couple more in my collection, but they don't come to mind.

Next time I get back in the storage, I'll dig out the autographed setlists I got from Brian Wilson and Bruce Johnston (at separate gigs from the mid-00s). Both require more than one page. The Brian Wilson one is a Smile setlist, too. The sound engineer was kind enough to give it to me at the end of a show.

Alas I don't have any fun stories associated with my autographs (but have somehow amassed a pretty good collection). Unlike my pal who saw Jimmy Page at a local record fair (they live in the same town), and bought a copy of Physical Graffitti there and then, which JP signed for him on the spot.

  6. Dexter Gordon - Our Man In Paris
Miles Davis - Miles Ahead (signed by Gil Evans, not 'The Prince Of Darkness')
    Elvin Jones - John C. ( Japanese mini l.p. )
Kenny Wheeler - an Italian l.p. with a dreadful female vocalist, name escapes me.

The one above is my pride and joy. Signed by all four members of Queen, I designed the poster and mounting etc that goes with it. The whole piece ended up much bigger than I thought it would! It stands about 4ft 5" tall or 120cm. I also have a copy of Queen II signed on the inside by Brian, Freddie and Roger.

I have quite a number of records signed as I used to enjoy meeting the bands that I saw live. I would usually get concert programmes signed as well. Here's what I can remember off the top of my head apart from those mentioned above. All of them are signed by the entire band unless mentioned otherwise.

    ABBA - Arrival
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road [yellow vinyl edition]
    U2 - Rattle & Hum
    Dire Straits - Making Movies
Dire Straits - Love Over Gold
Dire Straits - Twisting By The Pool EP
    Pretenders - Pretenders
    Pretenders - Pretenders II
    Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
    Fleetwood Mac - Tusk
Kiss - Destroyer [with Eric Carr instead of Peter Criss]
    Billy Joel - Glass Houses
Kinks - Give The People What They Want
    Boz Scaggs - Silk Degrees
Eurythmics - Touch [just Annie Lennox]
    Eurythmics - Be Yourself Tonight
Joan Armatrading - Walk Under Ladders
Rod Stewart - Tonight Im Yours

There are more, but I cant think of them all right now :)

No since they didn't tour Russia haha)
They held a website ssschasawebstore.com where you could pre-order their upcoming EP in different options - I choose a t-shirt and signed CD pack, so that was it for me.

P.S. Tom Morello is the reason I started to play guitar so that was huge for me to get his autograph (he was in Russia only in 1996 with 2 RATM shows and I was far from being a rock fan at my 4 year old age). He also replied to my question in Nightwatchman Speaks haha)

I acquired The Nightfly by Donald Fagen from a local music hermit (don't ask) a month ago and noticed the cover had some writing on it. I started to rub out the grease chalk before I realized it must have been signed by Fagen: "To_____, Best wishes, thanks for all the cool licks, Don". Let's just say I stopped there and put the record in a protective sleeve...
