Artists with only one truly great song?

Man...I'm gonna be lost on this forum if we've now gotten to the point where bands like Pacific Gas & Electric are getting acronyms.

I can't think of a single artist ''whose entire catalog i'm familiar with'' that only has one truly great song.

PG&E is the actual band name. They changed their name from Pacific Gas & Electric due to objections by the utility of the same name.

Only one? No way. They've got a load of great songs under their catalogue. We Are Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, Somebody To Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust... the list goes on.

I'm not a fan of that one. I actually like a handful of his songs but 'Stranglehold' is the only one that I really think is great.

Okay, maybe 'Wango Tango'.

 

I actually kinda like "Stranglehold" too, despite myself.

 

There is an excellent song called Catherine Street on this album , totally different style to Brandy but still an outstanding song (and guitar solo)

 

I love Steely Dan up through Gaucho, but I get this. There's something about this track. I remember what a breath of fresh air this was when it came out - mesmerizing.

 

Not sure...did Starbuck have good songs other than "Moonlight Feels Right"?

 

Have you actually heard anything else by them? They have one of the richest catalogues in 90s rock.
