Not really. Other than some of the surround I have just about the entirety of this already - but I will buy those individual sets all the same.
The only real disappointment now is that they didn't really have anything unheard in the vaults - as opposed to officialy unreleased.

The one thing I noticed is the absence of "Mademoiselle Nobs".

Don't forget this is, at heart, a copyright expansion set. If things haven't leaked at this point, it's probably unlikely they will any time soon : no rush to release them.

    Where the hell are:
    - stereo mixes of first single?
    - Interstellar Overdrive from 1966? It is the first thing they will lose copyright this year
    - Reaction In G studio take?

Pre-ordered the big box on Amazon UK, although I might well end up reconsidering.

    Plus sides:

    AHM in Quad!
    Echoes in Quad!
Echoes live from 1974 rounding our the DSOTM & WYWH/Animals tracks!
BBC tracks Cymbaline & Grantchester Meadows!
    Point Me At The Sky!

    Downsides:

    £400.

    Potential plan:

Buy the 2CD equivalent album on iTunes, make it worth a UK forumite's while to sell me their Blu Rays from the set.

Otherwise this is just about the most serious box set I've ever seen! Immersions, Beatles in Mono, SMiLE Sessions tremble and cower!!

Ignore the singles and count the Bonus discs. Five singles and five bonus discs (1 cd, 2 dvds, 2 blue-rays)

I guess they've gotta save SOMETHING for later - we're still getting an unbelievable amount of unreleased material, which makes their omission all the more glaring, but I expect they'll do them for some sort of repackaging down the road (Piper 50th anniversary edition?)
Also I can't be the only one who expected all the full albums to be included, considering I imagined this would be a "complete" set, though I do suppose most interested folks probably own them all several times over.
Also very curious as to why only "Echoes" in quad seems to be included, where's side one...

i'm admittedly not very well-versed in pink floyd lore, but is there any logic to the inclu/sion of a 1974 "echoes" on the free market floyd disc?

I'm still having trouble comprehending all this...what's the best way to go, what do I do? It looks like the first 5 boxes are the ones I want. The only thing that interests me in box 6 is Pompeii.

I'm a huge Syd and Syd-era fan, but no way I'll buy the whole set just for one disc. Like many, I'm planning to purchase a handful of individual releases (sets 1 and 2 for me, time will tell if I want more). Provided each individual set is fairy (?) priced, I won't complain.

Ahhhh good man, so this is actually lots of duplication with DVD and Blu-ray sharing the same content?

Well, I hope those Immersions don't turn into useless things in a few years.

Per Andy Jackson: only Echoes was mixed in quad, not the whole album.

A stereo-only remix of Obscured By Clouds is still most-mindboggling.

I guess it's easier dealing with Barbet Schroeder than with the estate of Michelangelo Antonioni

So, you've seen the 1966 video of Syd performing "Chapter 24"?

So if the content on the DVD's are the same as Blu-ray there is no reason I can't sell them on.

The fact that the soundtrack features other musicians likely complicates matters further.
