So is mine, I wanted to keep them in a empty room upstairs but the floor couldn't hold the weight so I wanted to put them in the garage,
the garage gets too hot so into the cellar they go. I have 2 de-hums going 2-4-7 to keep the moisture down.

    All my exotica (top 2 shelves)/cheesecore (3rd shelf)/non-categorical albums (4th shelf), 10" LP's (bottom).

    All audiophile/Sinatra/ and comedy.
The crate on top has vintage audio test records and vintage stereo equipment demo LP's

    All rock

    All R&B and jazz

For those who are interested, 78 albums. I found more since this picture was taken.

I'll have a picture soon of my stereo set-up in a day or so.

I'm getting ready to open up my record store in North Wilmington in late July/early August,
80% of these records are going in the store since I don't play them anymore.

For a second there I thought you were stacking records on that cross beam. My first thought was, Now what didn't I think of that!

i use my mailer boxes as spacers. one on each side of each compartment (i have expedits) so when you have new stock you don't have to move everything to fit the new stuff in.

My small vinyl collection fits nicely in this Boltz storage unit. I also have an old Ikea cube for any eventual overflow.

Yes and if you are at all interested in a well curated collection of classical, I would get them from your aunt if she no longer needs them.

Yes, there is a market for used Kallax units (formerly known as Expedit). Craig's List has listings by 4x4 or 5x5, 2x4 etc. With colors mentioned. As a matter of fact I am looking for a 4x4 Expedit in solid black, I have to buy used because the size has changed ever so slightly when they went to the Kallax line.

Many folks in this thread could use some Kallax or Expedit units to tighten up their rooms a bit.

For all those of you feeling a bit inadequate after seeing some of the previous posts here's my modest collection.
This is how you all started out before your collection started to grow uncontrollably.

Nice to see a modest collection, I've got McCartney Archive edition shipping one of these days so I'm waiting for that to come before I buy some more.

    Ok. This kinda frightens me.
I'd like to see a picture of it in a few years.

Cool. I like that shelving unit design. Something different than the usual square look. Is it custom made?
