My stuff showed up Monday but I haven't had time to do anything with it. ( I loved the big piece of crumpled brown paper they used for filler )

Very nice sounding Chris Bellman remaster that most agree handily beats the original pressing. Looks like it has gone back up but I see this one discounted pretty often. Worth keeping an eye out for. CB also remastered Ladies of the Canyon and it sounds equally great. I picked that one up for $8 shipped from popmarket a few weeks back..

They're at it again. Already have the two Rush & McCartney. Coda as well but it is the single vinyl version. At this price, can't resist. Order placed.

The Kings of Leon early years LP box is insanely cheap...

I probably should explore that material.

Wow, I just bought it a few months ago for $36 which was a crazy good price. At this price it's a no brainer. The pressing is really nice- thick vinyl, flat and quiet.

I agree, I pulled the trigger yesterday evening on the KoL box along with an assortment of other amazing finds in the $8.99 & $9.99 price points.

I first heard of KoL when they opened for U2 on the Vertigo tour. I chose to skip seeing them because the vibe was that they were all about country / southern rock which was not (and still isn't) a genre I'm partial to. Thing is, I'm all good with checking out opening bands but when you're at a sold out arena show, all surrounding venues become jam-packed with the masses so even getting a beer beforehand becomes a major endeavor. This made missing K0L acceptable collateral damage at the time.

That said, I regret missing them. I have since tripped into a couple cheapies that have fallen into my collection. "Come Around Sundown" (vinyl) was the first and I was surprised as to how much I liked it. I then found "Mechanical Bull" last holiday season on Best Buy online for $1.99 and again, a terrific album.

While I understand the early stuff has a different vibe, I sampled the albums on iTunes before ordering the box and I think I can get into them. $20.22 out-the-door for something that close to anyones wheelhouse is the definition of a no-brainer. I believe the first three albums are doubles so it should be seven slabs of vinyl. Looking forward to exploring it.

Now if anyone has stuck around this long, here is a nice find at $9.99. It is a beautifully presented pressing of a rather polarizing album that I happen to be very fond of. I got this one on a couple months back from the same seller at $13. A great example of having too many ways to listen to the same album (CD/blu-ray/vinyl) but it is such a quality pressing with a killer cover (which seemed to be nearly as polarizing as the music within), I'm glad to have found it.
