Anyone know if the Black Crowes 'Warpaint' is the Color Edition?

 

Yes, it's YELLOW

 

The pictures in the listing definitely showed the yellow version, but I'm not sure if it's been confirmed by anyone here yet..

 

I assumed that's what Dan was doing.

 

Mine arrived today. Definitely yellow vinyl!

 

My 2 lp Led Zep "Presence" came today, my 4th package in 2 weeks.

How do we know you aren't color blind?

For those who are there's a sticker on the front mentioning it's colored vinyl.

 

The "it was on sale" excuse was a lost cause a long time ago, for me.

But I'm actually my harshest critic as I usually have to sell a few things before I can buy more - keep the collection manageable. More stuff going up on eBay today as I keep items in my cart for importCDs. Btw, I hate you all and I hate this thread.

It's not Classic rock. Right now it's mostly $4 or $5 items I just want out of the house - this is where my Amazon vinyl packaging gets re-used.

My order just came in. Everything was perfect except the Hendrix 'Band of Gypsys', had a bit of surface damage to the record. Not going to bother returning it because it plays fine.

Did anyone get the Yes set? What'd you get, CD or vinyl?

My dumb question for the day, I received The Byrds - Fifth Dimension - today. Before opening up the record I knew it was warped from the odd shape of the cover and upon opening I wasn't proved wrong. This'll be my first LP return with Import CDs. Should I simply repackage it, use the little slip that came with it to effectuate a return or, is there some different procedure? I've written them before on another matter and never received a response and I'm not betting my life my message to them regarding the warped record will be answered. For the record, I played the album, far from the best sounding LP in my collection and, IIRC, not as good as the Sundazed reissue. Red vinyl, maybe not the best medium for good sound or maybe just a Friday Music thing.

 

Follow the instructions on their return slip to the letter.

I doubt it's the color vinyl as much as the plant and mastering.

 

I'd go through the ebay system. Click on 'more actions' then 'return item' and go from there.

Have you played the Keith Jarrett album yet? I hear a brushing sound throughout....no visible defects.

I did play it and I agree, the music and sound quality are high. I did not listen to it too closely but I did not notice any problems.

 

I got my Clapton/Cale today and it was perfect.

Good advice, IMO. I've returned a couple of damaged lps ordered via the discogs Collectors Choice store, which I think we've learned is the same company. I contacted them first, and was offered a downloadable return form, basically the same instructions as come with the printed packing slip, but then I had documented via email transactions that I had initiated the return, which they acknowledged. I eventually got refunded, but it took awhile and there is no tracking number. Keeping some kind of documentation of the return is a good policy, and you'll have a better record of that if you go through eBay.

It came today and it was indeed the vinyl 3 LP set!
