Also helps that the songs reflect a good time in my life (playing in my first professional working band at 19) even though I was always seemingly disdainful of top 40 in the 80s!

I know I've participated in Bobby's chart polls in my high school era. I don't think I picked as many songs as I did here!

 

I suspect my heavy participation in singles charts probably fades around 1988. Still singles I liked into the 90s but not as high a percentage as I'll get from the early-mid-80s charts...
