Heading to Vegas in a couple of days. First time for me and if any readers can recommend must see stores to do a bit of fishing, I would appreciate your advice.

I was in Vegas for an unexpectedly extended vacation this winter and as a CD guy, I really liked both Zia. I think the other stores are mostly vinyl-focused, so I didn't go.

I assume you're renting a car...getting to these stores by taxi gets expensive fast, and they're not on the strip.

Perhaps some new places have sprung up in the last couple of years, but I watched each store close up that I used to go to.

I'd be interested in knowing about any used stores there now.

My girlfriend scored some great stuff at Zia's earlier this year.

Thanks for the feedback folks. Looks like Zia's the spot.

Unfortunately I was unable to get to Zia, but I found a fascinating little precinct dubbed "Antique Alley". Full of stores selling all sorts of memorabilia but a number of them had quite a good range of vinyl , generally well priced and all genres. Main St Vegas and easy access via the RTC shuttle.
