Coolest bit of "Satisfaction" (Rolling Stones) to me is opening line of verse. Who wrote that part?

It's Keith Richards who wrote the hook/chorus fuzz guitar line, in a dream, right?

Is he also responsible for the insiduous/suggestive, almost ominous "I can't get no..." line of the verses?

I was listening to an instrumental version by Herbie Mann and thought that's a cool song after all. It must be a sign when a song "survives" being treated instrumentally by a musician from outside its genre... But it's that first sung line that gets to me (and always have, since 1965). All said and done, that guitar hook is kind of ordinary. Nothing like the guitar hook of "The Last Time", which is really special...

Not when they used it to make their entrance at Vanderbilt, October, 1997. We felt the hairs stand up on the back of our necks.
