I have been watching this show for 5 episodes now with not much expectation, but I found it to be a very enjoyable show - one very cheesy Explosion in Episode 1 and the overly simple premise (Chemical plant explodes in valley town - toxic "fog" makes everyone exposed to "Zombies" (the "28 Days Later" variety) - Focus on high-school-on-hill survivors and their interactions) notwithstanding, this show is surprisingly
    not-stupid.
The young actors are good and so far there were very few things insulting the intelligence of the viewer IMO - and it has a kind of grittiness and non-political-correctness that I didn't quite expect. But in a serious way, not in the Z Nation everything-is-a-joke way.

"Stranger Things" with less pretention and less "childish" subtext and less budget obviously, but working as a kinda "The Breakfast Club" meets "The Walking Dead" - in a good way !

    Worth checking it out.

After 7 episodes it's still good.
